Deliverable D3.2 4 Workshops Danube Basin

EcoDaLLi Local Panel Sessions

Reports of stakeholder-tailored workshops organized across the four territorial units of the Danube River Basin in 2023

Workshop Series Overview

Four stakeholder-tailored workshops were organized across the four territorial units of the Danube River Basin during 2023. These participatory sessions brought together representatives from academia, governance, business, and civil society to co-create knowledge on innovative ecosystem restoration solutions.

The workshops were structured around three thematic pillars aligned with the EU Mission "Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030":

Ecosystem Restoration for Biodiversity & Resilience
Reduction or Elimination of Water Pollution
Circularity, Blue Economy & Decarbonisation

The interactive sessions identified gaps, challenges, and inter-linkages in local/regional policies, and proposed actionable strategies to enable citizens and governments to support innovation in ecological restoration.
